A provisional list of local names for Namibian plants

Abstract:

The publication by Le Roux (1971) on common names of South West Africa has formed the basis for most lists of common names in Namibia. Names he recorded for northeast Namibia correlate to specimens collected about the same time by De Winter and housed in the herbaria of PRE and WIND.
