The Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) for the proposed uranium mine at Etango Project, situated on the EPL 3345 of Bannerman Mining Resources (Namibia) (Pty) Ltd, was awarded to A. Speiser Environmental Consultants cc (ASEC) in October 2007. The overall objective of the study was to conduct an Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) to determine the potential positive and negative impacts the project might incur.
