This document constitutes the Environmental Management Plan (EMP) for environmental management of the proposed 10 MW photovoltaic (PV) (solar) energy facility near Mariental, Namibia (see Figure 1). Namibia Power Corporation (Pty) Ltd (NamPower), the national electricity utility of the Republic of Namibia will select an Independent Power Producer (IPP) to construct, own and operate the PV energy facilities. The contents of the EMP will be binding on all parties who have a role to play in the design, construction, operation and decommissioning of the facilities, as relevant to the roles played.
