The Topnaar people live in small settlements on the northern bank of the Kuiseb River in Namibia's Namib-Naukluft Park, in the middle of the Namib desert. This study focused on investigating and mapping the land use activities taking place in Topnaar settlements. The project also looked into the legal land rights frameworks in the Kuiseb Topnaar community. The purpose of this project was to identify the existing land use activities and social services and amenities provided to the Kuiseb Topnaar community.
