Avian diversity on the Cunene River: Perspectives and potential implications of proposed dam sites. In Prep
The Namibian government has proposed constructing a hydroelectric dam at one of nine possible sites along the Cunene River, of which the main ones are Epupa Falls and the Baynes Mountains. In the interests of conserving Namibia's biological diversity, we compared possible impacts of dam construction in the Baynes Mountains versus Epupa Falls, focusing on which location would have a greater effect on avian diversity.
