New avian remains from the Neogene of the Sperrgebiet (Namibia): Refinement of the avian biostratigraphy of Namib Desert aeolianites
Two new types of fossil ratite eggshells discovered in aeolianites at Karingarab (Sperrgebiet, Namibia) exhibit morphologies intermediate between those of types already described. They help to refine the biochronology of the aeolianites of the Namib Desert. Keywords: éolianites, Sperrgebiet, Néogène, Namibie, biostratigraphie, coquilles d'œuf, Karingarab, Awasib.
