Abstract:

Lwandle Technologies (Pty) Ltd was commissioned to undertake a Verification Survey of the sediment properties and water column features of the proposed mining area. Lwandle in turn sub-contracted the CSIR CAS Analytical Laboratory in Stellenbosch to conduct all the chemical analyses for surficial grab sediments and sub-surface core sediments. The document is a compilation of all analytical methods employed by the CSIR CAS Analytical Laboratory to provide the sediment quality data required by Lwandle for its verification survey.
