Use of the Environmental Information Service's eLibrary

We believe that the information on the eLibrary website is in the public domain and may be freely distributed. If you find content that is copyright or should not be in the public domain for any reason, please inform us and we will remove it.

When using information from this site, there is no requirement to acknowledge the site as the provider of the information.

However, as with all reference material, it is the user's responsibility to ensure that the original data source of downloaded information is acknowledged appropriately to avoid plagiarism (see the box to the left for definitions of plagiarism).

  • For data sets which are downloaded in a zipped file, the zip file should include the citation details of the data source.
  • For downloaded documents and reports it should be possible to obtain the citation information from the document's title pages.

To the maximum permitted by law, Namibian Chamber of Environment, Paratus Africa, NamPower, Namibia Nature Foundation, JARO Consultancy and all other sponsors, donors, associates and partners exclude all liability to any person arising directly or indirectly from using this site and any information or material available from it.
