Habitat use during winter relative to water balance in a harpagophorid millipede from the Namib Desert
Aspects of habitat, population, and water balance in a harpagophorid millipede (probably Harpagophora nigra Attems) were studied from winter-collected specimens in the Namib Desert. Most individuals were relatively small occupying soil adjacent to granite boulders of an inselberg at Mirabib Hills.
