Capturing gemsbok (Oryx gazella gazella) by immobilising them with Etorphine hydrochloride (M-99) in combination with other drugs is descriptionbed and presented as a guide for future workers. The site of injection of the immobilising drugs is important and has a direct relationship to effective and rapid immobilisation.
