Abstract:

In: Miscellaneous taxonomic notes on African birds XLIII. New subspecies recognized Pycnonotus nigricans grisescentior. Type specimen (adult male) collected by B. Muche (No. 414) on July 1968, 32 km N. of Nata. In the collection of the National Museum of Rhodesia, Bulawayo, Reg. No. 73639. Current name: African Red-eyed Bulbul.
