Discussed subspecies and on the evidence presented in the paper the author maintains a reversal in the current usage of the names damarensis and onguati. The subspecies onguati occurs to the south and southeast of the Okavango delta system and a third subspecies S. c. tropica occurs extensively in the mid - Okavango drainage to the Caprivi and Okavango Swamps.
