This is the seventh and final Semi-Annual progress and Results report for the LIFE Plus Project, and covers the last 6.5 months of project implementation for the period from October 1, 2007 through April 15, 2008. This report captures a timeframe of continued strong results, particularly around LIFE Plus Project performance against planned results. These pleasing results demonstrate the shared inputs and efforts of the three major donor funded projects (i.e., LIFE Plus, ICEMA, and WWF-UK/IRDNC) and the Namibian partner organizations (NGO/NACSO and MET) who have all invested substantially to make the Namibia CBNRM Programme one of the premier natural resource management efforts in the world. The most significant achievements and events of the reporting period are briefly highlighted below (see Annex One for details on Programmatic benefits), while progress against the LIFE Plus Strategic and Intermediate Results targets can be found in Annex Two.
