Abstract:

The following Objectives were set for the workshop: 1) To share information on the existing/emerging environmental/conservation Information and Knowledge Management systems; 2) To explore how we could collaborate to optimize the benefits to supporting organisations and users; 3) To determine the Information and Knowledge Management system needs for the management of the PAN for biodiversity conservation; 4) To identify gaps and develop an action plan for establishing a permanent Knowledge Management system for park management and biodiversity conservation; 5) To explore ways of making the Information System(s) and Services as accessible and usable as possible.
