Sustainable development is about nurturing, protecting and levelling the core of progress, being our natural resources and their custodians, without which and whom development cannot occur. Co-existence is imperative to sustainable development. This presentation reflects specifically on whether Namibia's local communities and indigenous peoples feature in the discussions and decision-making surrounding the energy boom that the country is facing.
