The applicant wishes to apply and obtain an Environmental clearance, this clearance will allow the applicant to conduct exploration work on the Exploration Prospecting License No. 8100. The primary interest will be to seek for industrial minerals, dimension stone, precious metals, base and Rare Earth Elements mineral groups within the license area. Under the 2012 Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Regulations of the Environmental Management Act (EMA) (Act No. 7 of 2007) the Government has made a list of projects which need an environmental clearance like mining, thermal power plants, infrastructure etc. In order to fulfil the requirements of the EMA and its 2012 EIA Regulations Eino Efeinge Telela Shaanika appointed SS Consultants CC, an independent Environmental Consultant to conduct an Environmental Assessment (EA), inclusive of public consultation for the proposed exploration activities on EPL 8100 in the Erongo Region.
