221129000507: Renewal of ECC exploration activities on EPL3670 (Chungochoab) in Erongo Region
EPL3670 is considered to be prospective for both, primary and secondary (surficial) uranium mineralization. Leucogranites under cover are believed to host primary ‘Rossing’-style uranium mineralization, in particular along favorable lithostratigraphic contacts. The Cenozoic sediment cover has potential to host surficial ‘Langer Heinrich’-style uranium mineralization. Airborne EM data indicates the existence of NNE-SSW trending drainages. Isolated uranium anomalies over the Cenozoic succession on EPL3670 support this mineralization model.
