Abstract:

Africa Big Rhino Mining (Pty) Ltd (The Proponent) intends to conduct mineral prospecting and exploration activities on their seven Exclusive Prospecting Licenses (EPLs) 7989, 7990, 7991, 7992, 7993 and 7995, located near Aus in the ||Karas Region. The Proponent intends to conduct prospecting and exploration activities leading to the estimation and delineation of the target resources. Prospecting and exploration form part of the listed activities that may not be undertaken without an Environmental Clearance Certificate (ECC), in terms of the Environmental Management Act (Act 7 of 2007) (EMA).
