Epangelo Mining Company (Proprietary) Limited (The Proponent) proposes to undertake exploration activities on Exclusive Prospecting License (EPL) 7547 in the Erongo Region. Under the Environmental Management Act (2007) and its Regulations (2012), an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) is required for the proposed activity prior to commencing. The proposed activity on the EPL will entail various exploration methods i.e. remote sensing, geological mapping, geophysical surveys, geochemical surveys and drilling for the exploration of Nuclear Fuel Minerals which is Uranium. EPL 7547 is located in the western part of Namibia approximately 32 km east of Arandis. EPL 7547 measures approximately 21193.397 Hectares in extent.
