Abstract:

Epangelo Mining Company (Pty) Ltd (The Proponent) intends to conduct mineral prospecting and exploration activities on their Exclusive Prospecting License (EPL) No. 8249 located north-west of Kalkveld in the Otjozondjupa Region and north-west of Khorixas in the Kunene Region. The Proponent intends to conduct prospecting and exploration activities leading to the estimation and delineation of the target resources. However, prospecting and exploration form part of the listed activities that may not be undertaken without an Environmental Clearance Certificate (ECC), under the Environmental Management Act (No. 7 of 2007) (EMA).
