Abstract:

The ECC is required for sourcing, storing, loading and transport of surface stones required gabion and pitching for slope stability and erosion protection on the bridges and culverts during the renovation and upgrading of the railway line between Usakos and Arandis. The stones are sourced from the surface of a slope of a mountain commonly known as Kettlebank in the Daures Constituency, Erongo. Extraction is manual labout using picks without any excavation being done.
