Abstract:

The Lwezuba and Kabweza Fisheries Reserves fall within the Lusese Conservancy, the Lwezuba is always connected to the Kasaya River and has waterlilies and other aquatic plants. Kabweza is not connected to any river system, but forms a pool during the low-water phase and gets flooded during the high-water phase. During the low-water phase it divides into two separate pools.
