Abstract:

The Proponent plans to conduct prospecting and exploration activities leading to the estimation and delineation of the target resource. Prospecting and exploration form part of the listed activities that may not be undertaken without an Environmental Clearance Certificate (ECC). Thus, EPL 4866 are subjected to a Clearance Certificate to be issued by the Ministry of Environment, Forestry and Tourism (MEFT) upon submission of an Environmental Assessment Report (EAR) and draft Environmental Management Plan (EMP).
