Abstract:

The purpose of this Background Information Document (BID) is for mining and quarrying activities, to brief Interested and Affected Parties (I and APs) about the EIA that is being conducted for the proposed activity and outlines the EIA process. In addition to supporting information about the proposed project and the EIAs, this BID also provides I and APs with the opportunity to register as stakeholders in the public participation process and comment and make contributions to the proposed project (Sand Mining).
