Abstract:

Namibia, Damaraland. 10 km south of the Brandberg West Mine (2114BA) collected by Gernot Ahrens, Windhoek. The most recently defined Namibian distribution for this species is south of Windhoek (Griffin 2003). The closest I have recorded this species south of Windhoek is 125 km south of Rheboth (2317AC). The Brandberg West Mine specimen is from 350 km north-west of Windhoek and represents a considerable extension of range for this species. The specimen has been deposited in the National Museum Windhoek under catalogue number SMR 1077.
