The information on the ecosystems of the Cubango (Okavango) River Basin gathered for this report, has been compiled from the scarce literature available in Angola. From the literature survey carried out, emphasis has been given to the vegetation bio-diversity, and there is little or no reference to fauna, particularly fish, birds and reptile species.
