The development of the Olupale Lodge in the Iipumbu Ya Tshilongo Conservancy, Oshana Region, Namibia. Listed activities triggered by the project include: - Energy generation, transmission and storage activities (a) The generation of electricity (b) The transmission and supply of electricity − Waste management, treatment, handling and disposal activities 2.1) The construction of waste sites, treatment of waste and disposal of waste  2.3) The import, processing, use and recycling, temporary storage or export of waste - Mining and quarrying activities (3.2) Other forms of mining or extraction of any natural resources whether regulated by law or not. - Forestry activities (4) The clearance of forest areas, deforestation, forestation, timber harvesting or any other related activity that requires authorisation in term of the Forest Act, 2001 (Act No. 12 of 2001) or any other law. - Tourism development activities (6) The construction of resorts, lodges, hotels or other tourism and hospitality facilities - Water resource developments 8.5 Construction of dams, reservoirs, levees and weirs. 8.6) Construction of industrial and domestic wastewater treatment plants and related pipeline system The planned project is for the development of the Olupale Lodge in the Iipumbu Ya Tshilongo conservancy, Oshana Region, which will provide luxury accommodation in the Oshana region for upmarket travelers while uplifting the community with extra income and hospitality training. The planned development entails the construction of tourist accommodation, consisting of the following:  A 40-room luxury lodge; Pipeline to supply water from Plot No. 9 in the Iipumbu Ya Tshilongo Conservancy, 20km from the proposed development project; Water reservoir and purification plant; Off-grid solar system for energy supply.
