The Oranjemund Constituency Office intends to establish an Agricultural Project for the Constituency along the Orange River. The Project indents to create farming lands on mostly Namdeb areas that have been mined and also on some Rosh Pinah areas that have not been earmarked for mining. The proposed activities will involve both local farmers as well as international investors who might want to farm in the area. There are already existing farms mostly those farming with grapes and other deciduous plants. The proposed project builds on a long terms sustainability plans for both Oranjemund and Rosh Pinah mines once the mines closed.
