Abstract:

As per its commitments to the Convention on Biological Diversity, the government of Namibia prepared a revised National Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan (NBSAP2) in 2014. The Ministry of Environment and Tourism (MET) and the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH are jointly implementing the Resource Mobilisation for Biodiversity Conservation (ResMob) Programme with the intention of mobilising resources for the implementation of the NBSAP2.
