The mission of NANGOF Trust is that it exists to create with and through its members an enabling environment for CSOs by: Advocating and lobbying for a conducive legal framework, Facilitating access to funding, Facilitating capacity building, and enhancing service delivery, Managing and coordinating information generation and sharing, and Building and strengthening stakeholder relations and strategic partnerships. The NANGOF Trust was founded in October 2007 with the aim to serve as a platform on which Namibian non-governmental organisations, community based organisations and other civil society groups can join forces and enhance capacity for more effective pursuit of their goals. As representative of civil society, NANGOF Trust engages government and other stakeholders on various issues affecting civil society, with a major focus on a more enabling policy environment for civil society.
