Elephant Human Relations Aid is a Namibian registered not for gain organisation. We aim to reduce elephant-human conflict in the southern Kunene region of Namibia. Namibia's desert-dwelling elephants are one of only 2 populations of elephants in Africa (the other one is in Mali) living in a desert environment. Competiton with humans over scarce water resources causes conflict, which threatens the elephants existence.
