The Environmental and Social Impact Assessment was conducted by A. Speiser Environmental Consultants cc (ASEC) between October 2007 and December 2009 to establish the merit of the proposed Etango Project within the context of sustainable development in Namibia. The assessment included both the biophysical and socio-economic elements of the wider study area and was carried out by a team of 14 specialists.
