Title: Neue Arten der Samenkäfer-Gattung Spermophagus Schoenherr, 1833, aus dem südlichen Afrika (Coleoptera, Bruchidae, Amblycerinae)
Abstract: Eight Spermophagus species are described as new from Namibia and from other states of Southern Africa based on material collected by the entomological expeditions of the Museum of Natural History Berlin to Africa in 1989-1994 and material of the State Museum Windhoek, Namibia: Sp. blandulus spec. nov. (Zambia; loc. typ.: Kafue River), Sp. goellnerae spec. nov. (Zambia; loc. typ.: Victoria Falls), S.kavangoensis spec. nov. (Namibia; loc. typ.: Kavango), Sp. maraisi spec. nov. (Namibia; loc. typ.: West Caprivi Park), Sp. micans spec. nov. (Namibia, loc. typ.: Kavango), Sp. semirufipes spec. nov. (Namibia; loc. typ.: East Caprivi), Sp. uhligi spec. nov. (Namibia; loc. typ.: Bushmanland), and Sp. windhoekiensis spec. nov. (Namibia; loc. typ.: Windhoek).
