State of Biodiversity: Western Cape Province, South Africa Mammals
In the case of the riverine habitats and wetlands, there are also at least four species wholly dependent on the good health of these environments in the W.C.P. (and the C.F.K.)....and probably the Namib long-eared bat (Laephotis namibensis). Many other species probably also benefit from these aquatic habitats and links.
