The article deals with the genus Usta (Saturniidae) describing two species to be found in Namibia. These are Usta wallengrenii = Wallengren's Emperor, which is endemic in Namibia between Kuiseb, Kunene, Okahandja, Otavi-Mountains and the Skeleton-Coast and Usta terpsichore = Cavorting Emperor, which is distributed mainly in the east of southern Africa but also occursin Namibia.
