Descriptions of new forms of mammals
Unknown species and subspecies of mammals collected during an expedition to South-West Africa and the north-western districts of the Cape Province are described. The collection includes numerous diurnal species, such as Petromys, Procaviidae, Leporidae, Macroscelididae and Otomyine rats. Some mammals collected from north-eastern Swaziland and Southern Rhodesia are also described in this paper as new.
