Observations on mating behaviour in the common slit-faced bat Nycteris thebaica
Precopulatory and copulatory sequences of mating behaviour are descriptionbed in a micrwhiropteran bat. After a brief period of courtship, copulation occurs in flight with both bats hovering. Copulation is of short duration and is repeated up to three times.
