Angels in camouflage - An appreciation of larks
Gray's Lark is restricted to gravel plains in the Namib. Although it strongly resembles the Ammomanes larks of North Africa and southern Asia, it is in fact closely related to the Spike-heeled and Long-billed larks of southern Africa.
