Variation in Falco dickinsoni P. L. Sclater, 1864
The author obtained two females of Falco dickinsons during a collection trip to southern Mozambique in 1966. On being compared to material from Zambia, the Mozambique birds were found to be much paler, and greyer below. Careful examination of 46 specimens confirms that the species is readily divisible into well-marked light and dark forms.
