The Langer Heinrich Mine (LHM) is located approximately 90km east of Swakopmund in the Namib Naukluft National Park in the Erongo Region of Namibia. Langer Heinrich Uranium Mine (LHM) focuses on the mining and processing of uranium ore. The Water Resource Improvement Project is required to secure a water resource for the future extensions of the mine. It is clear that the water demand of the mine is reaching the limits of its available resources. LHM appointed Enviro Dynamics to conduct an environmental impact assessment (EIA) of the proposed Water Resource Improvement Project in line with Namibia's Environmental Management Act (2007).
