The Namibia National Biodiversity Program (NNBP), one of the core programs of the Directorate of Environmental Affairs (DEA), operates nationally to support and implement the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD). In implementing its programs and activities the NNBP ensures that issues of importance to the national development programs of Namibia are addressed and prioritised. This approach has also been utilised in the preparation of this report especially as it relates to the responses to the answers to the questions posed in the reporting guidelines.
