The Kaokoveld. copper district is currently an excellent source of fine minerals, particularly dioptase, wulfenite, malachite, the world's best shattuckite, and other secondary copper and lead species. Ongoing exploration and mining activity in the area will likely continue to provide specimens for some time to come.
