Abstract:

The proposed mineral exploration activities on Exclusive Prospecting License (EPL) No. 8747 located north-east of Otjiwarongo in Otjozondjupa Region. The Proponent has applied to the Ministry of Mines and Energy (MME) to be granted an Exclusive Prospecting License (EPL) No. 8747 on the 24 January 2022. However, the approval and granting of the EPL is subjected to an Environmental Clearance Certificate, thus the "pending ECC" status on the mining cadaster portal.
