The purpose of this study was to update a previous similar study, quantifying the micro and macroeconomic impact of a biomass power station and the related encroacher bush harvesting activities near Tsumeb in Namibia. The assessment is focused on a base scenario, selected in consultation with NamPower, with the other scenarios included as annexures. The variables for this assessment included a multitude of power stations, biomass input prices, exchange rates, and power station capacity factors.
