Abstract:

The Proponent plans to conduct small scale exploration for economical minerals on the MCs. An Environmental Clearance Certificate (ECC) is required in order for exploration activity to occur on MCs 69867 and 69868. Prospecting and mining form part of the listed activities that may not be undertaken without an ECC being issued by the Ministry of Environment, Forestry and Tourism (MEFT) upon submission of an Environmental Assessment Report (EAR) and draft Environmental Management Plan (EMP).
