Abstract:

Damaran Exploration Namibia (Pty) Ltd (The Proponent) intends to conduct prospecting and exploration activities on the Exclusive Prospecting License (EPL) No. 8039 located near Kalkfeld Settlement in the Otjozondjupa and Erongo Regions. However, prospecting and exploration form part of the listed activities that may not be undertaken without an Environmental Clearance Certificate (ECC), under the Environmental Management Act (Act 7 of 2007) (EMA).
