Abstract:

The Proposed exploration activities on the Exclusive Prospecting Licenses (EPLs) No. 4404 and 4405 located northeast of Okahandja in the Omaheke and Otjozondjupa Regions, Namibia. An Environmental Assessment (EA) process has to be conducted in accordance with the Regulations (2012) of the Environmental Management Act (7 of 2007) and it will form part of an application for the ECC. Under the Environmental Management Act (7 of 2007), the proposed development entails some listed activities that may not be undertaken without an Environmental Clearance Certificate.
