Botswana and Namibia as regular wintering quarters for European Reed Warblers?
Concluding from capture rates, the authors contend that Acrocephalus scirpaceus occurs fairly regularly in northern and even central Namibia, and assume the findings are also valid for Botswana.Seven individuals caught near Maun, the Chanokha Lagoon (20 10 S, 23 38 ' E). Current name: Eurasian Reed-Warbler.
