Abstract: Collections of giant eggshell fragments from numerous localities in the Namib Sand Sea reveal the presence of atleast six varieties, which we consider to represent distinct species in at least three genera. Detailed descriptions are given of the eggshells, one new genus, and three new species are erected, and a biostratigraphy based on eggs is proposed.
