Invasive alien species in southern Africa: national reports and directory of resources
The delegates to the Southern Africa regional workshop on Prevention and Management of Invasive Alien Species: Forging Cooperation throughout Southern Africa, co-chaired by the Government of Zambia (Ministry of Tourism, Environment and Natural Resources) in collaboration with the Government of the United States of America, and the Global Invasive Species Programme (GISP); noting key participation by governmental and non-governmental representatives of Botswana, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Seychelles, South Africa, Swaziland, Tanzania, and Zimbabwe; and with representatives of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), International Plant Protection Council (FAO-IPPC), the International Maritime Organization (IMO), the World Conservation Union (IUCN), and Centre for Agriculture and Biosciences International (CABI).
